一、形成水溶液的過程—溶解
許多物質可以和水均勻混合,形成水溶液,而那些能溶解在水中的物 質,稱為溶質,水則稱為溶劑,而生成的混合物叫溶液。如果一種溶質能 夠以分子、離子、或原子型態均勻分布於溶劑中,我們就說這種物質是可 溶的,如果不指明溶劑,通常意味著溶劑為水。
密度大小和溶解有關係嗎?接下來我們以醋酸、丙酮、戊酸為溶質來 檢視看看,密度的大小是否會影響此物質與水互溶的情況。

二、物質狀態與溶解的探討
水不僅可以溶解食鹽(固體),還可以溶解其他物質,例如:糖、二氧 化碳(氣體),形成水溶液。當我們想判斷物質可否溶解時,可用物質狀態(氣 態、液態、固態)來決定嗎?是否當溶質為液體時,就可溶解在水中?我 們將利用下面實驗來檢視。
接下來我們以醋酸、乙醇、戊酸、汽油四種皆為為液態的溶質來檢視 看看,物質狀態是否會影響物質與水互溶的情況。
