小學及中學教育的七個學習宗旨
中學教育更新的七個學習宗旨 學生能夠：
成為有識見、負責任的公民，認同國民身份，並具備世界視野，持守正面 價值觀和態度，珍視中華文化和尊重社會上的多元性
獲取和建構廣闊而穩固的知識基礎，能夠理解當今影響學生個人、社會、
國家及全球日常生活的問題
掌握兩文三語，有利更好學習和生活
綜合發展和應用共通能力，成為獨立和自主的學習者 ，以利未來進修和 工作
靈活、有效和合乎道德地運用資訊和資訊科技
了解本身的興趣、性向和能力，因應志向，為未來進修和就業，發展和反 思個人目標
建立健康的生活方式，積極參與體藝活動，並懂得欣賞運動和藝術

1. 明白自己在家庭、社會和國家所擔當的角色和應履行的責任，並關注本身 的福祉；
2. 認識自己的國民身份，致力貢獻國家和社會；
3. 養成獨立閱讀的習慣；
4. 積極主動及有信心地以中英兩種語文（包括普通話）與人溝通和討論；
5. 發展創意思維及掌握獨立學習的能力（例如批判性思考、資訊科技和自我 管理）；
6. 全面掌握八個學習領域的基礎知識；
7. 建立健康的生活方式，並培養對體藝活動的興趣和鑑賞能力。
