HKUST Exhibit Focuses on New
Technology
The public will get a closer view of research at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology through a photo exhibit in the Main Concourse of Ocean Terminal from 22 to 25 April 1997. Under the title "Tomorrow's Technology Today", the exhibit
showcases University research projects in areas vital to Hong Kong's future: electronics, information technology, biotechnology,
environmental technology, metals and textiles and clothing.
"Science and technology is the most important resource for the future society, as a young university, we are proud of these achievements. We hope that this exhibit will illustrate to the public the University's dedication and contribution to the economic and social development of Hong Kong," says Dr Otto Lin, Vice-President for Research and Development, HKUST.
