Mdke-up Team)
Following the establishment of Barber Service Team in Fall 2017, Make-Up Team was formed in Spring 2018 to bring a full grooming experience for Hong Kong elderly citizens.
With the collaborative effort from the two student teams, elderlies were offered a chance to get a refreshed look and a nice collection of portrait photographs in the event "Grooming with care, Capture with love". Students went through a series of trainings and unleashed their talents by providing haircut and make-up service
- to over 80 senior members of our community. The seniors' vibrant looks were then captured by our student photographers. Their portraits were printed as photographs, while the memories of this event were imprinted in the hearts of the seniors and our students.
"Through serving senior citizensf 1 realize that care for others is impactful. It
encourages me to be more caring to my family. 11

( Japan Cultural Exploration Tour
J
SHRLO Japan Cultural Exploration Tour provided students with the opportunities to experience Japanese culture in a non-touristic way via informative firm visits
and interaction with local students.

18 students spent 7 days in Hamamatsu from 3-9 June 2018, the origin of famous industrial brands such as SUZUKl, TOYOTA and HONDA. They learnt about Yaramaika Spirit which means "Let's give it a try" through visits to companies, factories and museums. For Japanese companies, this spirit was illustrated in their effort in improving their business processes and competitiveness via
innovative technology, which leads to business success. By staying in college dormitory, the
students learnt Japanese values such as courtesy and cleanliness. Japanese students are very respectful and punctuality is strongly embedded in the Japanese daily routine. For example, arriving at least 5 minutes earlier at the assembly point is a good habit in order for us to settle down and depart to the next destination on time.
"Being on time is the first step towards building trust and reliability
in Japan." - student LAU Wen Kai
