BUSINESS LEADERS SHOW THE WAY TO CAREER SUCCESS
Job-seekers graduating from the Hong Kong University of Science andTechnology will benefit from advice offered by senior business executives at a forum co-organized by HKUSTÕs Career Center and the Rotary Club of Hong Kong.
ÒFacing a worsening unemployment situation, university graduates will have to enhance their competitiveness to find their ideal job,Ó said Brian Cheng, student counselor at the Career Center.
ÒThe forum provides a good opportunity for our students to meet with business leaders, to gain first-hand information on the current job market, and learn how to better equip themselves for an increasingly competitive market,Ó he said.
In addition, students will also be exposed to specific topics such as the manpower demands of the financial services and information technology sectors, social networking and comparative strengths of graduates from Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and overseas.
The forum will be addressed by members of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong, representing the banking, investment, telecommunications, fund management and executive search industries.
