Abstract
(英英英文文文摘摘摘要要要) Given an N -polygon and a point P , using thisN -polygon＇s each side as the axis of symmetry with the pointP being mirrored we get the new N points.
These new N points form a new N -polygon and we call this action the mirror trans- formation.
In this project we discuss iterations of the mirror transformation, in particular the relationship between the newN -polygon and the original given one. I found that the N -thN -polygon and the original one is similar to each other with a xed ratio.
(中中中文文文摘摘摘要要要)摘摘摘要要要:給定一個 N 邊形和任意一點 P ,以此 N 邊形各邊所在的直線分別為 對稱軸,將 P 點作鏡射後,可以得到新的 N 個點,這新的 N 個點可以構成一個新的 N 邊形,這個動作我們稱為“鏡射變換 ＂.
本研究主要是探討作了 N 次鏡射變換後所形成的新 N 邊形和原先給定的 N 邊形 之間的關係,我們發現當重複此動作 N 次後,得到的第 N 個 N 邊形會和原先給定的 N 邊形相似,而且比值為定值.
