十二年國民基本教育跨領域英語文教學國際研討會

Classroom in 12-Year Basic Education 壹、緣起：

十二年國民基本教育課程綱要以全人教育為精神，強調以學生為本，培養學 生帶得走的能力，而跨領域/科目統整能強化學生知能整合與生活應用之能 力，此次研討會希冀藉由蒐集高中跨領域教學示例，提供各校開發課程之參 考，讓學生在學習學科新知的同時，同時增進語言運用的能力；同時，邀請 香港地區CLIL(Content and Language Integrated Learning，學科內容與語言整 合學習)專家學者，分享跨領域於香港地區實施之現況，精進高中職及國中 小學校英文教師教學知能並落實新課綱跨領域之導向。

貳、計畫目的

一、因應十二年國民基本教育英文課程綱要之推動，鼓勵全國英文教師進行 跨領域教學設計。

二、提供全國高中英文教師教學經驗分享與交流之平臺，增進英文教師教學 專業知能。

三、與香港大學學者及教師進行文化學術交流，了解跨領域教學實施現況，

拓展英文教師國際視野。

Dr. Angel Lin is Professor of English Language and Literacy Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Hong Kong. She received her Ph.D. from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto, Canada in 1996. Since then her research and teaching have focused on classroom discourse analysis, bilingual and multilingual education, academic literacies and language policy and planning in postcolonial contexts. She has published 8 research books and over 100 research articles, and serves on the editorial boards of leading international research journals including Applied Linguistics, Language and Education, International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism, Critical Inquiry in Language Studies, and Pragmatics and Society. Her latest book, Language Across the Curriculum and CLIL in English-as-an- Additional-Language (EAL) Contexts, was published in 2016 by Springer.

Abstract

Translanguaging theories (García and Li, 2014; Li, 2017; Lin and Lemke, forthcoming) emphasize a fluid, dynamic view of language and differ from code-switching/mixing theories by de-centring the analytic focus from the language(s) being used in the interaction to the speakers and meaning-makers who are actively constructing original and complex discursive practices. Trans-semiotizing theories (Lin, 2015; He, Lai and Lin, 2017; Lin, forthcoming) further broaden the focus to analyse language as entangled with many other semiotics (i.e. meaning-making resources) such as visuals, gestures, bodily movement. In this presentation recent developments in trans/languaging and trans-semiotizing theories are discussed to illustrate the key role played by trans/languaging and trans-semiotizing in breaking through the monolingual/immersion paradigms in Content-based Education.

專題演講講者介紹Ⅱ

Mr. Michael Kai Yip TSANG is a former Geography and Liberal Studies teacher. He is the Panel Chairperson of Integrated Science and he currently teaches Mathematics, Integrated Science, Physics and Chemistry in the Yuen Long Merchants Association Secondary School. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in 2009 and Postgraduate Diploma of Education from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012, and Master of Science in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2011.

In 2016, he finished his Master of Education in Language Across the Curriculum at the University of Hong Kong, and has been developing LAC and CLIL approaches to the teaching of Science.

七、 經費：

(一)主辦單位提供與會人員膳食，研討會相關工作所需費用由英文學科中心 核定經費項下支應。

(二)英文學科中心研究教師及種子教師交通費由學科中心經費支應，一般高 中教師所需差旅費，由所屬服務學校經費支付，公差假依各校規定。

(三)輔導群委員差旅費及住宿費由九年一貫課程推動工作「課程與教學輔導組」

語文學習領域英語組輔導群業務費用項下支應;輔導團員差旅費及住宿費 由教育部國民及學前教育署補助辦理十二年國民基本教育精進國民中小 學教學品質計畫經費項下支應;一般國中小教師所需差旅費，由所屬服務 學校經費支付，公差假依各校規定。
