The HKUST MBA Ranks First in Asia Pacifc

The MBA Program of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s School of Business and Management (HKUST Business School) has been ranked 1 in Asia Pacifc and 14 globally by the Financial Times. This is the seventh consecutive year that HKUST has been ranked in the Top 15 globally; during this period, no other MBA program in the Asian-Pacifc region has been ranked in the top 15 in consecutive years. Additionally, this marks the sixth time in the last seven years that the HKUST MBA Program has been ranked as the best in Asia Pacifc.

In the 2016 Financial Times Global MBA Ranking, the HKUST MBA Program has performed well across multiple dimensions. Our graduates continue to see increasing responsibility in the workplace. The average salary of our alumni (three years after graduation) improved by 114% compared to their pre-MBA salary – the best among the global Top 15 programs. With regard to career progress, a measure of seniority and span of control, our graduates improved from 31 to 19 globally (and from 48 in 2013), reaffrming the transformative nature of the MBA Program.
