SUMMER ACADEMY
The Summer Academy is a programming and product development summer program with exploratory, intermediate, and advanced courses available. Our alumni come from over 50 countries, have gone on to attend all of the top 10 college computer science programs in the United States, and have interned at top companies after attending the Summer Academy.
Attending the Make School Summer Academy placed me in the same room with other great minds from around the world who were all driven to create something remarkable.

Alumni Feature
Olivia Brown attended Make School in the summer of 2016. Over the summer, she designed and launched not one but two apps.
One of them, Lippi, has over 300,000 downloads and Olivia is now taking a gap year to work on it full time before starting her first year at Harvard. You can download her app at bit.ly/lippiapp
Make School was an incredible opportunity for me to learn how to create without boundaries. Before I came to Make School, I was a developer. I had taken years of computer science classes, but I didn’t have much to show for it.
Today, I’m the founder of Lippi, an app with over 300,000 downloads. When I walked on stage for Make School’s demo day, I was terrified; today, I confidently walk on stage at massive events prepared to tell my story of a girl who just builds things she’s passionate about. I was also thrown into this incredible community of brilliant, innovative people, some of whom I travel around the world to visit because we’ve become such close friends.

Make School is a software engineering and product development school founded in 2012 to empower students to build and ship products that impact their communities. Based in San Francisco with locations worldwide, we have over 1000 alumni. We are backed by top Silicon Valley investors and over 30 industry partners including Lyft and LinkedIn. Our instructors all have professional engineering experience and are trained in the Silicon Valley. Over 60 high schools currently use Make School’s curriculum and our advanced curriculum has been used by MIT and Carnegie Mellon.
