Please summarize the entire research, teaching, or science and technology R&D and management work process ( To be completed by the employee)
Main research activities during stay on NCKU were focused on developing of robust methods for autonomous robots motion in indoor/outdoor environments. Based on a previous work, I was continuing in development of a hybrid path planning method which combines expert rules, potential fields and Voronoi diagrams. This method was also partially implemented in custom written simulation framework.
The second part of my work was based on supervising in the field of usage of navigation method in indoor environment. Especially the navigation method based on infrared landmarks detection.
