Course Objectives (課程目標)
The objective of this course is to provide the students with the core of the central idea and methods of statistics that will be applied in the solution of problems in statistical theory and application for further study. The fundamentals of modern probability theory will be introduced first, followed by sampling distribution theory, and then the basic theory of statistical inference will be provided. The main concepts will be illustrated by a variety of examples and exercises.
