AIR CONDITIONING

Is the temperature controllable between 18 and 22℃ by individual regulator in each booth?

LIGHTING

Is the booth lighting independent from the hall?

Are there 2 different systems? (work, general) Is the general light switch located by the door?

Are the dimmer switches for both systems located within reach of the interpreter working?

WORKING SURFACE

Does the working surface stretch across full width of booth?

Is it 0.73m ± 0.01m from the floor level of booth?

Is the useable depth (clear of equipment, fixtures) 0.45m in relation to the interpreters’ angle of vision into the hall?

Is there 0.45m to 0.66m of leg room?

Is the area under the working surface free of shelving or trays?

Are shelving or trays located towards the rear of the booth, within easy reach of the interpreter?

Are there five legs?

Is the height adjustable?

Is the back-rest adjustable?
