本研究採用網路問卷法，在填答方面有偏差狀況，信效度較低，建議後續 研究者可改用紙本問卷法，可以與旅行社合作或是直接於機場等地方發放問 卷，以能夠找到更具有代表性的樣本，並且排除問卷填答過程中可能造成誤 差。

1. 對旅遊相關產業：
自助旅行者在從事旅遊前，大部分將會透過網路搜尋相關資訊預定與規劃 旅程。因此建議旅行業者可開闢自助旅行專業諮詢管道（如行程說明、注意事 項、機票預訂及簽照辨理等）給自助旅行者提供更多元的旅遊資訊，主動協助 規劃適合需求的旅程，藉由增加旅遊動機、降低旅遊阻礙、刺激旅遊意願及提 高旅遊者技能。
「心理需求」動機與「環境阻礙」因素是影響女性自助旅行者從事旅遊活動 的重要因素，建議旅行業者可設計一個安全、舒適、方便的旅遊環境，這樣就 能減少焦慮和不安感，達到其真正休息和放鬆的目的。
2. 對女性自助旅行者：
「人際阻礙」因素也是阻礙女性自助旅行者從事旅遊活動的重要因素，建議 生活中所扮演不同角色的女性旅行者對於旅遊阻礙進行協商、平衡而改變計 劃、配合他人，克服阻礙，以增加參與旅遊活動的機會。
另外，建議旅遊者行前應省思旅行的動機與目的，依需求規劃適當行程，
遊程中應多留意各種發生狀況的應對辦法，如此才能真正體驗到自助旅行的樂 趣。

本研究所探討的對象只限於臺灣自助旅行者，建議後續研究者可以考慮擴 大研究範圍，諸如探討男女自助旅行者，或者其他地區女性自助旅行者，進行 比較分析，為驗證本研究結果，以供觀光相關業者之參考。
本研究之研究對象包括自助旅行者及半自助旅行者，建議後續研究者可將 自助旅行者與半自助旅行者分別進行探討，以釐清自助旅行者與半自助旅行者 之特色。

後續研究者可加入不同的研究變項來作探討，諸如：旅遊知覺風險、滿意 度、社會支持等變項進行探討，以更加了解自助旅行者的習性、心理及態度。
本研究並未控制其它的影響因子，如個人背景因素（家人、配偶角色之影 響）等，後續研究可將上述影響因子列爲控制變數來做進一步的探究。
針對研究性別角色議題，有關旅行與性別角色之研究目前尚屬新議題，相 關理論及研究不多，本研究對此議題已有一定的掌握，但仍需進一步深入研 究。後續研究者可加強性別角色旅遊活動之研究，探究全體性別是否與性別角 色旅遊活動有其相互關係，深入探討這些變項的影響情形。
