本研究透過收集玩家的上線所在地點以及公會等資料,透過長時間的資料收 集並從三個角度建立玩家的人際關係網路,透過玩家的行為模式來建立玩家的朋 友關係,藉此分析玩家的人際關係網路對於玩家離開網路遊戲的影響。但受限於 玩家實際資料的難以取得,本研究只能透過玩家之間的各種互動來推測玩家的真 實人際關係網路來做分析,因此與實際的玩家人際關係網路可能還是有些許差 異。因此若是能取得伺服器端真實玩家的人際關係資料,尤其是若能取得玩家之 間對話的紀錄,如此我們就能更精確的探討玩家在行為角度的互動對於玩家離開 的影響。受限於目前網路遊戲的生命都不長,我們很難透過單一遊戲的單一伺服 器資料來比對玩家前後期遊戲的差異,因此本研究透過比較新伺服器與老伺服器 來對應到遊戲的前期以及後期,藉此比較遊戲前後期人際關係對玩家離開的影 響。但畢竟這是不同伺服器的資料,其中人際關係細微的影響更是難以用單純的 參數來表達其中的差異,因此若能有一個款遊戲生命很長,並且在遊戲一開始就 針對其中的資料做收集,我們將更能夠了解人際關係對於玩家在遊戲前期與後期 的差異。

本研究從遊戲的角度探討玩家受人際關係網路影響而離開遊戲,從更宏觀的 角度來看,網路遊戲不過是人際關係網路發揮的一個平台,所有與人際關係網路 有關的平台(如社交網站)都面臨玩家或是使用者離開的問題,本研究的發現可 以作為一個起點,供有興趣的研究者參考。。。。
