Hollingworth 等人(2001)指出凝視對於偵測改變是相當重要的,透過眼動 對場景建立表徵,且偵測目標物的凝視時間可作為內隱偵測改變的指標。在本研
Schacter(1987, 1992)指出記憶包含外顯記憶(explicit memory)和內隱記憶
(implicit memory)兩部分。前者是指有意識(conscious)或意圖(intention)
提取的記憶,在廣告行銷上常用的測量方式有「自由回憶」(free-recall)和「再認 記憶」(recognition memory)的方式來衡量。後者是較無意識或無意識處理的記 憶,在廣告效果上常用的測量方式有品牌的字詞填充或品牌聯想的方式來衡量。
Law & Braun(2000)給予參與者文字線索的提示,請他們回憶置入商品,此測 量的記憶屬外顯記憶,指參與者能夠辨別商品的程度。先前的研究也曾發現參與

(Vollmers & Mizerski,1994)。然而,在一般購買情境下,消費者面臨抉擇時,
並不會有商品的提示出現,因此內隱記憶才是對於參與者的態度和購買行為影響

實驗二原欲探究商品置入在非聚焦區時所產生較佳再認表現之原因,故加入 眼動儀測量注意力處理的認知歷程。然,由對於商品的凝視時間和凝視次數仍無 法提供良好的解釋和更直接的證據驗證其再認和廣告效果,故建議未來研究可加 入內隱指標討論當商品位在非聚焦區時,是否為非意識處理歷程所造成的實驗結 果,例如,Law & Braun(2000)請參與者分別觀看商品置入的電視節目,結束 後請參與者想像好朋友要搬家的情境,請參與者從下列清單中選出要送給朋友的 商品,當中包含節目出現過的商品和沒出現過的商品,或是透過品牌字詞填充、
品牌聯想的方式檢測。再者,在商品類型的挑選上,應先進行商品再認度的前測,
以避免商品本身再認程度的高低影響實驗結果。此外,由於本研究為避免參與者 對品牌原有的偏好以及品牌知名度的影響而選用中等喜好程度和低知名度的品 牌,然而所有的商品在實驗情境中皆只出現過一次,且皆為參與者低熟悉度之商 品,是否應增加曝光次數或對於低知名度或是新品牌是否適用「大家來找碴」此 類偵測遊戲,也是未來研究可進一步探討的方向。
