Even though I only live an hour away from the Woodford Festival, this year was my first time to go. I couldn’t believe all the activities I was missing! On my arrival, I saw children lining up to watch a circus performance, and stopped to watch for a little while. My festival map told me that there was a lot more to see on over 500 acres of land, so I quickly made my way to the outdoor theater. I got there just in time for a comedy performance, which was great. I later walked up and down the streets sampling food with all kinds of flavors and spices.

Gift giving is different in different cultures. If you are planning to visit another country, you should research the appropriate ways to give and receive gifts. Do you give gifts to good friends only or acquaintances too? How do you show your gratitude if you receive a gift? All of these things are important to know. For example, in China, you should always use both hands when you receive a gift, while in Saudi Arabia, you should use only your right hand, and absolutely never your left hand to receive a gift. Wherever you are, do your best to behave graciously, and do a little research before you go.
