The world-famous Nazca Lines are in the Nazca Desert, Peru. It is said that they were made by the Nazca people between A.D. 400 and 650. The Nazca Lines are many kilometers long. The largest figures are up to 370 meters long. If you walk along the figure on the ground, you won’t notice anything special. To see what patterns the lines form, you have to be up in the air. One of the most famous patterns on the Nazca Lines is a monkey which has nine fingers and a tail in the shape of several circles. Hi Sami,

Just a quick email to say that sounds like a great idea. Saturday is better for me because I'm meeting my parents this Sunday. So if that’s still good for you, why don’t you come here? Then you can see the new flat and all the work we’ve done on the kitchen since we moved in. We can eat at home and then go for a walk in the afternoon. It’s going to be so good to catch up finally. I want to hear all about your new job!

Our address is 52 Charles Road, but it’s a bit difficult to find because the house numbers are really strange here. If you turn left at the post office and keep going past the big white house on Charles Road, there’s a small side street behind it with the houses 50 ~56 in. Don’t ask me why the side street doesn’t have a different name! But call me if you get lost and I’ll come and get you.

Let me know if there’s anything you do or don’t like to eat. Really looking forward to seeing you! See you soon!

Gregor

Dear Gregor,

I had a good time at your new flat last Sunday. Your new flat looks fantastic! I wonder where you bought those beautiful couches and tables. I’m planning to buy a new couch for my living room. Please tell me where and how I can buy the furniture. Thanks! Sami

(B)

Dear Gregor,

Kitty told me that your father was not feeling well and went to the hospital last week. Kitty also said that he needed to have an operation as soon as possible. I’m so worried about it. Do you need any help? Please contact me if you need anything. Sami

(C)

Dear Gregor,

It’s been a while since we last met in Fiona’s birthday party. How is your new flat? I just got a really nice job in town. I can’t wait to tell you how I got the job. Do you have time this weekend? Let’s meet and have lunch together.

Sami

(D)

Dear Gregor,

How was your job interview last week? I know it is very important for you because you spent the whole month preparing for it. Also, I just finished decorating the kitchen in my new flat. I would like to invite you to come and enjoy the view on my balcony. How about this Saturday?
