(4) Abstract Executive Summary Business Plan for WiMic Wireless & Noise-free Recorder By Alex Lee The smart phone has become the major device for taking photos and filming. There are 800 hours of videos uploaded to YouTube every minute, and more YouTubers participating in generating videos. Because it is an era of we-media, there will be more and more people using video to promote himself. Nowadays, people can shoot 4k video by smartphones, but there’s no solution for people who want to shoot videos with good audio quality, without worrying. 政 治 大. about the issue of noise, time consuming, post-editing, expensive tools and long distance filming.. 立. ‧ 國. 學. (8) Chapter One Business Objectives 1.1 Introduction It is an era of “we-media”. There are more and more videos uploaded to many kind of platforms such as FB, YouTube, blogs or even company websites. Videos are more powerful than words for telling stories. That is why Live casting is really hot recently, so the demand for shooting videos is getting higher. Smartphones nowadays can capture 4k quality for videos. However, there’s still no solution for recording better quality of audio on smartphones. Audio quality in recording is still neglected by smartphone manufacturers, and this huge demand in all kinds of areas can be met by creating a whole new smartphone accessory.. 立. 1.2 Motivation. 政 治 大. ‧ 國. 學. The goal of this product is to provide video makers and YouTubers a great video-shooting experience. Therefore, it was designed to solve five main video-shooting pain points:. ‧. 1. The quality and specification of WiMic depends on the capability of RD. making the best design so that the best UI/UX will make more users want to buy. What’s more, manufacturing is important that we will manufacture some products in the beginning for some samples, but we need to cooperate with other ODM/OEM partners for manufacturing. As for marketing, we need to do not only online marketing, but also offline marketing. Online marketing including SEO, Adwords, social platform marketing (like Facebook, twitter, IG, Vimeo, YouTube), blog with content marketing which focus on articles of how to shooting better quality of video through easiest way, Crowdfunding and press cover. However, offline marketing will be focusing on video competition, new product launch event and exhibitions 2.

(10) such as Cebit and Hanover…etc. The other key activities is doing the product training for sales and finding out the retailers. The last one should be business development that finding the new partners. Key resources including hardware/ software engineers, designers, product managers, marketing team, salesman, customer services and official website. As for key partners, in the beginning, finding out the key partners for cooperation is quite important because initially there is few brand recognition and not enough users. Retailers such as Amazon, Ebay, PChome or even the real offline retailers are the most essential partners in this business. There is a great opportunity of this business because of bellowing reasons. First, total number of people who use YouTube increases significantly each year. Now the number of users is already reaching to 1,325,000,000. Second, there are 300 hours of video uploaded to YouTube every minute which compares to 100 hours in 2015. In addition, YouTube reports mobile video consumption rises 100% every year. And there are 55% of people watch videos online every day. Third, People spend on average 2.6x more time on pages with video than without and 90% of user say that seeing a video about a product is helpful in the decision. 政 治 大. process. The category of this product should be smartphone accessory. It is easy to be carried because it only weight twelve grams. Users simply need to clip it to the place that near the audio source the most. Then users need to connect smartphones with WiMic by Bluetooth. After connecting, users can open the user-friendly WiMic APP to start to record videos. When finishing the recording, users can use the APP to choose whether to use the audio that recorded by WiMic or not. Distance of recording will limit the video production. Video makers need to shoot video just nearby the object being shot. Therefore, external recording devices are very important for people who want to shoot videos with good audio quality. 10.
