02/04/2009 Wuhan University President Signs Undergraduate Student Exchange Agreement with HKUST A delegation from Wuhan University, led by their President Prof Gu Hailiang, visited the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) today and signed an academic agreement with HKUST President Paul Chu on the exchange of students between the two universities. President Chu also accepted an invitation by President Gu to give a keynote address at Wuhan University on 6 May 2009.

Signing the agreement are President Gu Hailiang (left) and President Paul Chu. The ceremony was witnessed by senior members of both universities.

Several Wuhan University alumni who are now pursuing their doctorate studies at HKUST pose for a picture with President Gu and President Chu.
