I-結果分析 一. 居住人口

二零零三年年底澳門居住人口估計為 448 495 人，較二零零二年增加約 7 000 人 。 在居住人口中，男性為 215 616 人，佔 48.1%，而女性則有 232 879 人，佔 51.9%。

居住人口歲組分佈方面，二零零三年年底 0 至 14 歲人口佔總人口比例為 18.6%，較二零零二年下降 1.4 個百分點；而 65 歲或以上人口所佔的比例為 7.9%，

較二零零二年上升 0.2 個百分點。

二．活嬰

二零零三年出生的活嬰共 3 212 人，較二零零二年增加 1.6%，這是自一九八 八年以來首次出現的升幅。二零零三年平均每月有 268 名活嬰出生，其中以十月 份最多，有 311 名；而二月份最少，只有 230 名。

出生嬰兒性別比是 112.6，高於國際平均水平(104 - 107)。

活嬰中體重介乎 3 000 克至 3 499 克之間的佔 45.2%，而體重低於一般水平

（2 500 克）的約佔 6.4%。

所有活嬰均在醫院出生，其中 1 675 名出生於仁伯爵綜合醫院（山頂醫院），

佔 52.1%，其餘 1 537 名出生於鏡湖醫院，佔 47.9%。在活嬰的母親當中，80.9%

居住在澳門半島，以花地瑪堂區最多，有 1 403 名；其次是聖安多尼堂區，有 594 名。

大部份活嬰的母親年齡介乎 25 至 34 歲之間，佔 63.0%，母親年齡在 20 歲以 下的只佔 2.7%。活嬰母親年齡中位數為 30.7 歲，而父親年齡中位數為 34.3 歲。活 嬰父母親的出生地主要是中國大陸，分別為 57.5%及 67.8%。

在經濟活動方面，47.7%活嬰的母親及 0.4%的父親屬非勞動人口。

三．死亡

二零零三年共有 1 474 宗死亡個案，較二零零二年上升 4.2%；其中男性 771 人，佔 52.3%。按月份統計，以一月份死亡人數最多，共 153 人；而八月份最少，

按死者年齡統計，60 歲或以上共 1 116 名，佔總數 75.7%；而少於 1 歲的有 2 名，嬰兒死亡率為千分之零點六。

根據《國際疾病分類》第九版(CID.9)的大類劃分，澳門人口的三大主要死因 為﹕〝循環系統疾病〞 ，共 477 宗，佔 32.4%﹔〝惡性腫瘤〞 ，共 417 宗，佔 28.3%﹔

〝呼吸系統疾病〞 ，共 216 宗，佔 14.7%。

按較詳細的類目劃分，主要死因為〝氣管、支氣管和肺的惡性腫瘤〞 ，共 98

宗；其次為〝心力衰竭〞 ，共 80 宗；而〝其他急性及亞急性缺血性心臟病〞及〝肺

炎，未特指病原生物體〞 ，則分別錄得 62 及 51 宗。

至於由外因導致的死亡個案有 115 宗，其中 59 宗為自殺，6 宗為他殺。

另外，1 歲以下嬰兒死亡個案有 2 宗，死因分別為〝起因於圍產期的若干情況〞

及〝症狀、體徵和某些不明確情況〞 。

二零零三年共有 12 宗死胎個案，其中 8 宗為後期死胎 (懷孕 28 週或以上的 胎兒)；主要死因為〝起因於圍產期的若干情況〞，共 9 宗。

四．必須申報疾病

二零零三年衛生局共接獲 1 864 宗〝必須申報疾病〞個案，較二零零二年大幅 下降 27.5%；主要原因是〝水痘〞個案從二零零二年的 1 700 宗下降至二零零三年 的 740 宗。

五．結婚

二零零三年共有 1 309 宗結婚登記，較二零零二年增加 8.3%。結婚宗數以十 二月份最多，有 175 宗；而八月份則最少，只有 66 宗。

而不論男方或女方均以 25 至 29 歲這一歲組的結婚人數最多。一般來說，女 方較男方年輕。女性及男性的初婚年齡中位數分別為 27.5 歲及 30.0 歲。

結婚儀式主要採用民事登記方式，佔 93.0%；而夫妻的財產制度則以〝取得 財產分享制〞為多，佔 51.0%。

六．獲准在澳居留人士

二零零三年獲批准居留澳門的人士達 2 791 名，離去的共 350 名，較二零零 二年分別減少 31.8%及 36.2%。至二零零三年年底，獲准在澳居留人士餘額為 32 167 人。

而獲准在澳居留人士中，以來自香港的最多，共 15 319 人。

七．非本地勞工

二零零三年，根據 12/GM/88 及 49/GM/88 號批示輸入的非本地勞工共 10 746 人，而離去的共 9 236 人。由表四可見，至二零零三年年終非本地勞工餘額為 24 970 人，較二零零二年增加 1 510 人，升幅為 6.4%。

在澳門的非本地勞工主要來自中國大陸、菲律賓及香港，分別佔總數 75.2%、

I-結果分析

八．移民

二零零三年來自中國大陸的合法移民共有 2 451 名，較二零零二年減少 659 名，跌幅為 21.2%。

來自中國大陸的合法移民中，29.9% 的年齡介乎 30 至 39 歲之間，26.5% 為 0 至 9 歲，而 10 至 19 歲的則佔 16.6%。這些移民以女性佔多數（65.0%） ；另一方 面，移民主要來自廣東省，佔 65.6%。

同年共遣返 496 名非法移民，較二零零二年減少 702 名，減幅為 58.6%。被 遣返的非法移民以女性為主，佔 72.0%，而年齡方面以 15 至 24 歲的佔大多數，達 49.4%。

1. POPULAÇÃO RESIDENTE

No fim do ano de 2003, a estimativa da população residente de Macau era de 448 495, tendo-se verificado um aumento de cerca de 7,0 milhares de pessoas em comparação com o valor estimado no fim do ano de 2002. De entre a população residente, a população do sexo masculino era de 215 616 pessoas, representando 48,1%

da população e a população feminina era de 232 879 pessoas, correspondendo a 51,9%.

Relativamente à estrutura de idade, o grupo etário dos 0-14 anos apresenta 18,6% da população total no fim de 2003, registando uma diminuição de 1,4 pontos percentuais comparativamente ao período homólogo de 2002, o grupo etário dos 65 anos e mais apresenta 7,9%, correspondendo a um aumento de 0,2 pontos percentuais em relação ao 2002.

2. NADOS-VIVOS

Durante o ano de 2003 registaram-se 3 212 nados-vivos em Macau, representando um acréscimo de 1,6% em comparação com o ano de 2002. Este foi o primeiro acréscimo que se verificou desde 1988. Em 2003, o número médio mensal de nados-vivos foi de 268 e o mês em que houve mais nascimentos foi o de Outubro (311), tendo-se registado o menor número de nascimentos (230) em Fevereiro.

A taxa de masculinidade à nascença foi de 112,6, este valor foi superior às taxas médias internacionais (104-107).

Quanto ao peso, 45,2% dos nados-vivos tinham entre 3 000 e 3 499 gramas e cerca de 6,4% tinham à nascença um peso inferior ao considerado como normal (2 500 gramas).

A totalidade dos nados-vivos nasceu em estabelecimentos hospitalares, tendo 1 675 (52,1%) nascido no Hospital Conde de S. Januário e 1 537 (47,9%) no Hospital Kiang Wu; 80,9% das mães dos nados-vivos residiam na península de Macau, nomeadamente, nas freguesias de N. Srª. Fátima, 1 403, e de Santo António, 594.

A idade da maioria das mães (63,0%) situava-se entre os 25 e 34 anos, sendo a mediana da idade de 30,7 anos. Uma pequena percentagem de mães, 2,7%, tinham idade inferior a 20 anos. Relativamente à idade dos pais, verifica-se que a mediana de idade é de 34,3 anos. Os progenitores dos nados-vivos eram, na sua maioria, naturais da China Continental, 57,5% dos pais e 67,8% das mães.

Quanto à condição perante a actividade económica, verificou-se que 47,7% das mães e 0,4% dos pais pertenciam à população inactiva.

3. ÓBITOS

Em 2003 registaram-se 1 474 óbitos em Macau, representando uma variação positiva de 4,2% em relação a 2002. Destes óbitos, 771 dizem respeito a indivíduos do sexo masculino (52,3%). O mês com mais óbitos foi o de Janeiro, 153, tendo sido Agosto o mês durante o qual se registaram menos óbitos, 102.

No que se refere aos óbitos de 2003, apurou-se que 1 116 (75,7%) pessoas que faleceram tinham idade igual ou superior a 60 anos, mas 2 tinham menos de 1 ano de idade, o que corresponde a uma taxa de 0,6 óbitos de crianças, por mil nados-vivos.

As três principais causas de morte, em termos de grandes grupos de doenças e lesões (Capítulos) da Classificação Internacional de Doenças (CID. 9), foram as

“Doenças do aparelho circulatório”, com 477 óbitos (32,4%), os “Tumores malignos”, com 417 óbitos (28,3%), e as “Doenças do aparelho respiratório”, com 216 óbitos (14,7%).

De acordo com a mesma Classificação e a nível de categorias de doenças e lesões (3 algarismos), a principal causa de morte foi o “Tumor maligno da traqueia, dos brônquios e do pulmão”, com 98 óbitos, à qual se seguiu a “Insuficiência cardíaca” com 80 óbitos, as “Outras formas agudas e subagudas da doença isquémica do coração” e a

“Pneumonia por microrganismo não especificado”, com 62 e 51 óbitos, respectivamente.

Os números (1), (2) e (3) foram as primeiras três causas de morte nos anos em referência.

Do total dos óbitos em 2003, 115 ocorreram devido a causas externas; 59 destes foram suicídios e 6 homicídios. Registaram-se 2 casos de mortalidade infantil e as causas de morte foram “Algumas afecções originadas no período perinatal” e “Sintomas, sinais e afecções mal definidas”.

Durante o ano de 2003 foram registados 12 fetos-mortos, destes, 8 foram considerados fetos-mortos tardios (com 28 ou mais semanas de gestação). A principal causa de morte foi “Algumas afecções originadas no período perinatal”, com 9 casos.

4. DOENÇAS DE DECLARAÇÃO OBRIGATÓRIA

Em 2003, foram comunicados aos Serviços de Saúde de Macau 1 864 casos de doenças de declaração obrigatória, o que representa um decréscimo significativo de 27,5% em relação ao ano de 2002. Esta diminuição deve-se principalmente à menor ocorrência de casos de “Varicela”, dado que em 2002 houve 1 700 casos e em 2003 só 740.

As doenças com maior número de declarações foram a “Varicela”, com 740

casos (39,7%), seguindo-se a “T.B pulmonar”, com 332 casos, a “Síndrome pé-mão-boca”, com 330 casos e a “Hepatite C aguda”, com 102 casos.

(1), (2) e (3) foram as primeiras três doenças de declaração obrigatória ocorridas mais frequentemente nos anos em referência.

5. CASAMENTOS

Em 2003 registaram-se 1 309 casamentos o que representa um aumento de 8,3%

em relação aos verificados no ano de 2002. O número mais elevado de uniões registou- -se em Dezembro com 175 casamentos e o mais baixo em Agosto com 66, respectivamente.

O grupo etário em que se verificou maior número de casamentos, de ambos os sexos, foi o dos 25 aos 29 anos. As mulheres eram, no entanto, relativamente mais jovens que os homens, já que a mediana da idade no primeiro casamento foi de 27,5 anos nas mulheres e de 30,0 anos nos homens.

A grande maioria dos casamentos (93,0%) foi civil e o regime de bens adoptado pelo casal foi, na maioria dos casos (51,0%), o da “Participação nos adquiridos”.

6. INDIVÍDUOS AUTORIZADOS A PERMANECER EM MACAU

Em 2003 foram autorizados a permanecer em Macau 2 791 indivíduos e verificou-se a saída de 350, representando, respectivamente, um decréscimo de 31,8%

nas entradas e de 36,2% nas saídas em relação ao ano de 2002. O saldo de indivíduos autorizados a permanecer no Território, no final de 2003, era de 32 167.

Dos indivíduos autorizados a permanecer no Território, a maioria era de Hong Kong (15 319).

7. TRABALHADORES NÃO RESIDENTES

Em 2003 verificou-se a entrada no Território de 10 746 trabalhadores não

residentes, (ao abrigo dos despachos n ^o 12/GM/88 e n ^o 49/GM/88), e a saída de 9 236.

A maioria dos trabalhadores não residentes que se encontravam em Macau no final de 2003 eram oriundos da China Continental (75,2%), seguindo-se os nacionais das Filipinas (13,8%) e as pessoas de Hong Kong (2,5%). Existiam 66,7% trabalhadores não residentes do sexo feminino.

8. IMIGRANTES

Em 2003 entraram no Território 2 451 imigrantes legais provenientes da China Continental, menos 659 (-21,2%) do que em 2002.

Em termos relativos, 29,9% destes imigrantes pertenciam ao grupo etário dos 30 aos 39 anos, 26,5% pertenciam ao grupo etário dos 0 aos 9 anos e 16,6% dos imigrantes tinham idade entre 10 e 19 anos. A maioria (65,0%) era do sexo feminino. A principal região de origem dos imigrantes era a província de Guangdong (65,6%) .

Em 2003 foram repatriados 496 imigrantes ilegais, o que representa uma descida de 702 pessoas (-58,6%) em relação a 2002. A maioria dos imigrantes ilegais repatriados (72,0%) era do sexo feminino, sendo o grupo etário dos 15 aos 24 anos (49,4%) o que apresentou a maior percentagem.

1. RESIDENT POPULATION

The resident population of Macao was estimated at 448 495 as at the end of 2003, an increase of about 7 000 persons compared with 2002. Among the resident population, 215 616 (48.1%) were males and 232 879 (51.9%) were females.

With regard to the distribution by age group, in 2003, the proportion of residents aged 0-14 contracted by 1.4 percentage points over 2002 to make up 18.6% of the population, while those aged 65 and above expanded by 0.2 percentage point to constitute 7.9% of the population.

2. LIVE BIRTHS

In 2003, there were 3 212 live births, an increase of 1.6% compared with 2002.

This was the first time to record an increase in live births since 1988. The average number of live births in 2003 was 268 per month. The number peaked in October, with 311 live births, while the lowest number (230) was recorded in February.

The sex ratio of the live births was 112.6 which was higher than the average international level (104-107).

Among the live births, 45.2% weighed between 3 000 and 3 499 grams; 6.4%

weighed below the average level (2 500 grams).

All deliveries of the live births were carried out in hospitals. Among them, 1 675 (52.1%) were delivered in Conde De S. Januario Hospital, and 1 537 (47.9%) in Kiang Wu Hospital. With regard to the district of residence of the mothers, 80.9% of them resided in the Macao Peninsula, especially in the parishes of N.S. de Fátima (1 403) and Santo António (594).

Most of the mothers of the live births (63.0%) were aged 25-34; only 2.7% of the mothers were aged below 20. The median age of these mothers was 30.7 and that of the fathers was 34.3. For place of birth of the parents, 57.5% of the fathers and 67.8% of the mothers were born in Mainland China.

In terms of economic activity status of the parents, 47.7% of the mothers and 0.4% of the fathers were economically inactive.

There were 1 474 deaths in 2003, up 4.2% compared with 2002. Among them, 771 deaths were male, equivalent to 52.3% of the total deaths. The highest number (153 deaths) was recorded in January, while the lowest (102 deaths) was in August.

Among the deaths, 1 116 of the deceased aged 60 and over, sharing 75.7% of the total. In addition, 2 infants died under the age of 1, the infant mortality rate was 0.6 per thousand live births.

According to the International Classification of Diseases, 9 ^th version (ICD-9), the three major causes of deaths were “Diseases of the circulatory system” (477 cases),

“Malignant neoplasms” (417 cases) and “Diseases of the respiratory system” (216 cases), accounting for 32.4%, 28.3% and 14.7% respectively of the total deaths.

A more detailed classification demonstrated that the main causes of death were

“Malignant neoplasm of trachea, bronchus and lung” (98 cases), “Heart failure” (80 cases), “Other acute and subacute form of ischaemic heart disease” (62 cases) and

“Pneumonia, organism unspecified” (51 cases).

On the other hand, there were 115 deaths from external causes of injury in 2003.

Among them, there were 59 cases of suicides and 6 cases of homicides.

There were 2 cases of infant mortality died under the age of 1 and the causes of death were “Certain conditions originating in the perinatal period” and “Symptoms, signs and ill-defined conditions”.

Among the 12 cases of fetal deaths recorded in 2003, there were 8 late fetal deaths (fetus with gestation of 28 weeks or above). In addition, 9 fetal deaths were determined as “Certain conditions originating in the perinatal period”.

I - Analysis of Results 4. NOTIFIABLE COMMUNICABLE DISEASES

There were 1 864 cases of “Notifiable communicable diseases” reported to the Health Bureau in 2003, a decline of 27.5% over 2002. This was caused by the decrease in the number of “Varicella (chickenpox)” cases, down from 1 700 cases in 2002 to 740 cases in 2003.

In 2003, the most common “Notifiable communicable diseases” included 740 cases of “Varicella (chickenpox)” (39.7%), 332 cases of “Tuberculosis of lung”, 330 cases of “Hand, foot & mouth disease” and 102 cases of “Acute hepatitis C”.

5. MARRIAGES

In 2003, there were 1 309 marriages registered, an increae of 8.3% compared with 2002. The highest number (175 cases) occurred in December, while the lowest (66 cases) was in August.

The majority of the brides and grooms were aged between 25-29 years. Generally, the brides were younger than the grooms. The median age of the brides and grooms (referred to those married for the first time) were 27.5 and 30.0 respectively.

With regard to the type of ceremony adopted, 93.0% of the couples opted for a civil registration. In addition, 51.0% of the couples chose to share their acquired property after marriage.

6. PERSONS AUTHORIZED TO RESIDE IN MACAO

In 2003, the number of persons granted authorization to reside in Macao decreased 31.8% over 2002 to 2 791 persons and the number of residency cancellations also decreased 36.2% to 350 persons. Meanwhile, the balance of persons authorized to reside in Macao was 32 167 as at the end of 2003.

Among those granted authorization to reside in Macao, most of them came from Hong Kong, with 15 319 persons.

7. NON-RESIDENT WORKERS

In accordance with Dispatches 12/GM/88 and 49/GM/88, there were 10 746

non-resident workers arriving in Macao and 9 236 leaving Macao in 2003. Thus, the

balance of non-resident workers was 24 970 as at the end of 2003, an increase of 1 510

persons (+6.4%) over 2002 as shown in table 4.

8. IMMIGRANTS

In 2003, there were 2 451 legal immigrants from Mainland China, a decline of 659 persons (-21.2%) compared with 2002.

Among the legal immigrants from Mainland China, 29.9% were aged 30-39, 26.5% aged 0-9 and 16.6% aged between 10 and 19. The majority of the immigrants were females (65.0%). Moreover, these immigrants mainly came from the province of Guangdong, with 65.6% of the total.
