- The general unemployment rate (1.8%) and the unemployment rate of local residents (2.4%) both decreased by 0.1 percentage point from the previous period (October-December 2017). Meanwhile, the underemployment rate (0.4%) rose by 0.1 percentage point.
- The general labour force participation rate was 69.8% and the labour force participation rate of local residents was 63.6%, down by 0.1 and 0.2 percentage points respectively from the previous period.
- Total employment was 376,000, up by 100. Number of the unemployed decreased by 200 to 6,900. Number of employed residents totalled 276,400, the same as in the previous period.
