Macao Special Administrative Region, part of the territory of China, is situated at the Pearl River Delta on the southeast coast of Mainland China, 60 km southwest of Hong Kong. Total land area of Macao measures 31.3 km², com- prising the Macao Peninsula and the islands of Taipa and Coloane. Macao Peninsula is linked to Taipa Island by three bridges and the two is- lands are linked by the CoTai reclamation area.

The highest hill, measuring 170.6 m in altitude, is situated at the Coloane Island.
