Determinant Factors Analysis of Taiwan Enterprises Investing in Northern China 田永豐、劉原超博士

ABSTRACT
Most of Taiwanese enterprises choose Eastern or Southeastern China as prior areas for oversea investment. However Northern China is becoming more visible latest due to the following reasons: Competition in Southeastern China is getting more and more violently. Land, material and labor costs at these areas are raising as well. On the other hand, local governments of Northern China start to reposition their own strength and advantages and provide more promotion toward Taiwanese investors. Investment researches on these areas are new era to Taiwanese enterprises. This research aims to discuss determining factors of Taiwanese enterprises investing in Northern China and applies Taiwan Enterprise Association members as study objects. From literature reviews, we try to understand China Area Economy Developing history, evolution and future policy. The government segments China to Nine Economic Areas. Northern China will play an important role in next stage for Taiwanese investors. From the Analysis, we have got the determinant factors of Taiwanese enterprises investing in Northern China. Conclusions through Questionnaire Research and Analysis are indicated as follows: 1.Natural environment advantage is one of determinant factors for Taiwanese Investors select Northern China as investing area. 2.Regulation environment limits Taiwanese Investors’ foot stepps.
3.Other environment factors (such as Infustructure, Public Environment, Economic Environment and Managerial Environment) are considered benefits toward Taiwanese Investors. 4.Those who have invested in Northern China affirm positive trend of future development. 5.The Pioneer Taiwanese Investors become major references.
