Abstract
Comparative librarianship has been rapidly growing since 1964. This paper describes the definitions and dimensions of comparative librarianship study. By means of database searching and literature review, it also summaries the develop- ment situation on this field between Taiwan and Mainland China so as to realize the trends in cross-strait.
