100 Creative Designs from Hong
Kong on Show at HKUST
Hong Kong design increasingly achieves international recognition. The public can now appreciate the creative work of local designers at the exhibition, "100 Creative Designs from Hong Kong" to be held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 27 September to 17 October 1997.
Familiar names such as Kan Tai-Keung, Freeman Lau, Alan Chan and Craig Au Yeung are among the exhibitors. Exhibits range from
posters and billboards to logos and product packaging.
The exhibition is also one of the highlights of the HKUST Student Outreach Day on Saturday, 27 September. The exhibition will showcase outstanding work by local designers, reflecting the diverse culture of the region.
The opening ceremony and preview will be held on Friday, 26 September.
