Jacky: Lucy, why are you so crazy about movies? I just don’t get it.

Lucy: Well, I love movies so much. The best thing about movies is that I can always learn some wise words from them. Don’t you think so? Like Forrest Gump, I have watched it for five times. It’s one of my favorite movies. When Forrest’s mom was going to die, she told her son that “Death is just a part of life, something we’re all destined(命中注定) to do.”

She used these words to make Forrest feel better and let him know that death is unavoidable.

Jacky: Oh, I remember another famous line is “Life was like a box of chocolate. You never know what you are gonna to get.” Am I right?

Lucy: Yes, you are right. Let me tell you about another one, Desperate Housewives, a popular American TV series. It talked about the

struggles(掙扎) of family life, and it was very interesting. The line “Even

during bad times, always remember that the best is yet to come.” is hard for me to forget. These words really give me hope because I was breaking up with Jimmy at that time. And I found another inspiring(激勵人的)

sentence from The Lion King, “The past can hurt. But I think you can either run from it or learn from it.” Thanks to these movies, I know that the only way to forget about your past is to look ahead and learn from the lesson.
