Over the past year I had the pleasure of visiting NCKU for three periods of approximately one month each. Working closely with Dr Yee-Shin Lin and colleagues, my activities focused on research collaboration (dengue and related projects), teaching and graduate student advising and mentoring.

是的,無論在研究和教學上的成效都符合預期目標。

(2)研究或教學或科技研發與管理的方法、專業知識及進度如何?

What are the methods, professional knowledge, and progress of the research, teaching, or R&D and management work?

在研究上,主要研究主題為登革病毒之致病機制,2015 年已發表兩篇期刊論文,分別發表於

Immunology 以及 Thrombosis and Hemostasis 期刊。另外以 A 群鏈球菌(Group A Streptococcus)

為主題的研究,發表於 mBio。還有目前在 revise 中的兩篇 manuscripts,主題分別為登革病毒

之疫苗研發和 autophagy 機制。在教學上,負責 Graduate Immunology 四週課程,Advanced

Immunology 兩次課程,Infectious Diseases 一次課程,和英文寫作課程,並且參與研究生每週

之專題討論,以及每週之 Virology meeting,免疫和感染症書報討論,及 Group A Streptococcus

meeting。

此密切的國際合作在傳染性疾病及訊息研究中心的登革病毒、細菌、及訊息傳遞研究有很大

的助益。對於研究生,無論在研究上以及英文寫作和口語能力的增強都提供極大助益。

(4)受延攬人於補助期間對貴單位或國內相關學術科技領域助益如何?

Dr. Robert Anderson 對於成大碩博士班研究生在學術研究上提供貢獻,擔任研究生的論文指導

委員,並且參加定期舉行的進度報告會議。也協助同仁在 manuscripts 的修改及提供建議。

共同合作探討登革病毒以及 A 群鏈球菌之致病機制,對於登革疫苗研發提供策略。

2.

共同發表三篇期刊論文,並有 manuscripts 在 revision 中。

3.

與感染與免疫相關的授課計 7 次。

4.

英文論文寫作的課程與輔導。

5.

參與研究生每週之專題討論,以及免疫和感染症書報討論。

6.

參加傳染性疾病及訊息研究中心定期舉行的進度報告會議。
