Students already spend too much time on their mobile phones. If they also use their phones at school, they will just chat with friends all the time. They will not pay much attention in lessons. Some may even cheat in tests by using their phones!

Tina Leung (Class 6A) 1

5

Mobile phones can be very useful at school. We can look up difficult words in an online dictionary. We can also contact our friends easily. We can even call our parents when something bad happens.

Jimmy Yeung (Class 6B)

Some people say mobile phones will disturb lessons. However, if we use them correctly, they can help us learn. Last week we did a group project at school. Our teacher allowed us to look for information on our mobile phones. The lessons were much more interesting.

Cindy Lee Flat 17E Block 16 Lucky Gardens Shatin Hong Kong Hello from Bali! It’s very sunny here! The sky is clear

all day but it isn’t too hot.

5

We’re staying in a really good villa. The beach is just outside our bedroom. Uncle James loves diving. I can’t swim so I just go sunbathing. I also enjoy walking under the trees. Yesterday we visited a village. Most of the villagers grow vegetables but some make souvenirs to sell.

We bought a wooden mask for you!

Love,

I must also thank my husband, Leo. When things are difficult, he does many things to support me.

10

Michael: What difficulties did you have when making Moonlight Dancer?

Clara: That wasn’t an easy film for me because there were many dance scenes.

5

Clara: Never. I didn’t even join the Drama Club at school. My dream was to

teach maths! 10

Clara: I left school at 17 to make money. My results were good, but I needed to work to support my family. So I became a clerk at a TV company.

One day a director asked me to play a small role as a policewoman in

a TV drama. That’s how I got started. 15

Michael: What advice would you give to young actresses?

Clara: Be prepared to work hard and never give up.
