The summer holiday will begin in July. You have all worked hard this year. I am very proud of your good work.

Enjoy your holiday. Don’t always stay at home. You should sometimes play in the park with friends. Don’t watch too much television. You should also do some work to keep up your English.

Here are two ways to help you:

1. Writing Diaries – Write a diary every day. You can write about what you did that day. I will ask you to share your diaries with your classmates when you come back in September.

2. Visiting Websites – There are many websites with interesting English games. Ask your parents to help you find some English games at www.englishfunfun.com or www.gamesenglish.net.

Don’t forget to read more English books. Reading is fun! I hope all of you will have a wonderful summer!

The Talking Bear

His teddy bear is moving! Billy is surprised. His teddy bear starts to talk to him. “Hello, Billy. It’s late. Why don’t you go to sleep? Your mum will be angry if she finds you reading a comic book and not going to sleep.”

“Wow! You can talk! You’re an amazing bear! Can you play with me and my friend Jack tomorrow?” says Billy.

“Okay, I’ll turn off the torch now. Good night!” says Billy.
