The purpose of this study is to establish a Network-based test system applying computer adaptive test to English instruction in elementary school. In order to implement the system, Test Theory, Computer Adaptive Test, Pyramidal Test Theory, ASP.Net software as the platform, and online test module are employed as a basis to help the implementation of the system. After the system is completed, users may use the Internet Explorer to log into the test system. The test system can show the level of subjects’ abilities immediately.
