停經後婦女規律運動之經驗

中文摘要

本研究的主要目的,在探討停經後婦女規律運動之經驗。採質性研究之深度訪談及內容分析,依訪談指引與 12 位規律運動的停經後婦女做

深度的錄音訪談,得到受訪個案主觀的描述性資料。經內容分析法,獲得停經後婦女規律運動之經驗的四個主題,分別為「健康危機」、

「選擇運動」、「持續的動力」和「健康適轉」。

在「健康危機」主題中有「治不好的痼疾」、「停經的情緒波動」及「服藥的矛盾」三個主要類屬。當婦女進入更年期時,其生理機能開

始出現不適等老化的變化,心理上產生「治不好的痼疾」、「停經的情緒波動」及「服藥的矛盾」感受。面對這些心理的壓力,停經後婦 女嘗試以「選擇運動」來解除「健康的危機」,在「選擇運動」之過程中會有「自我量身」、「尋覓」、及「比較」三個主要類屬出現。

停經後婦女為自我的健康規律運動之「持續的動力」,來自於「克服」、「感受身心助益」及「社交開擴」此三個主要類屬所產生之力量。

因為有「持續的動力」,使規律運動的停經後婦女在生理、心理、社會文化角色及靈性處於一種不斷地、正在進行地「健康適轉」過程,

「健康適轉」為「減緩健康危機」、「風華再現」及「自我實現」三個主要類屬的呈現。

此研究結果可讓醫護人員了解此時期婦女最關心的焦點是身體的健康;應把握此時期的婦女對自我健康的掌握與關注。在實施婦女健康促

進之護理措施時,鼓勵婦女作積極的健康促進行為 --- 規律運動,提供婦女具正確性、可近性及有效性的運動處方。根據影響停經後婦女規 律運動之因素,提供醫療政策制定,促使另類療法 --- 規律運動,被納入健康體系,擴大協助成立社區婦女的運動團體,讓更多的婦女能夠 參與規律運動,享受規律運動的成效。

The Experiences of Regular Exercise among Postmenopausal Women

英文摘要

The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of regular exercise among postmenopausal women. It was conducted by qualitative method of i n-depth interview and content analysis. Data were collected through interviewed guidelines and audiotapes recorded with 12 postmenopausal women who exercise regularly. Four themes were generated: They were (1) health crisis, (2) choose exercise, (3) continuous power, and (4) health becoming.

The Health crisis contents three categories (1) cureless disease, (2) postmenopausal mood fluctuation, and (3) contradictory of taking medicine. During climacteric, physiological changes and discomfort due to illness and aging, the feeling of cureless disease, postmenopausal mood fluctuation, and contr adictory of taking medicine emerged. Facing up to these stresses, they tried to choose exercise to relief their health crisis. Tree categories including an d are observed during the process of choosing exercise (1) self-evaluate, (2) seeking, and (3) comparison. The drivers of the continuous power of regul ar exercise could be concluded to three categories (1) overcome, (2) feeling benefits of both body and mind, and (3) expansion of social contacts. Attri bute to the continuous power makes regular exercise of postmenopausal women proceeding on health becoming in physical, psychological, social char acter and spiritual dimensions repeatedly and continually. Health becoming is the display of three categories of (1) health crisis release, (2) refresh, an d (3) self-achievement.

The findings of this research can help nurses in Taiwan to understand the focus of postmenopausal women is their health. Thus, we should utilize the c ertain period of time as postmenopausal women who awake to their health condition closely. To intervene women’s health promotion, encouraging act ive health promotion behavior: regular exercise. Providing them with accrual, user-friendly, and effective exercise prescriptions. Based on the factors o f affecting postmenopausal women exercise regularly, providing proper medical treatment. It is suggested that regular exercise should be highly consid ered as the alternative therapy in health policy formation of care system. Expanding and supporting the women’s exercise groups in community and th en more women will participate in exercise regularly, and gain the benefits from regular exercise.
