- Attributable to the long holiday of Lunar New Year, visitor arrivals in package tours and Macao residents travelling outbound using services of travel agencies soared by 21.6% and 37.8% respectively year-on-year. Of which, residents travelling outbound in package tours leapt by 1.3 times.
- Guests of hotels and guesthouses increased by 7.5% year-on-year. Due to a substantial year-on-year increase in guest rooms, the average occupancy rate decreased by 8.5 percentage points (p.p.) to 77.3%, with that of 5-star hotels at 78.8%.
