課程教學目標：
The purpose of this course is to help students develop English reading ability in their professional subject.
課程綱要：
This course introduces students to the principles of English reading. Different reading materials will be introduced to students that will lead students to develop the critical reading and vocabulary skills they need to become confident, academic readers.

McCarthy, M. & O’Dell. F. Vocabulary in Use upper Intermediate. Cambridge University Press (one day per unit) Grading Criteria:

100% attendance is expected. If you must miss a class or need to arrive late, please let Ms. Tseng know. Make up work can be arranged if you inform the teacher in advance. However, each excused absence will result in a one-point reduction of your final grade. Each unexcused absence will reduce your final grade by two points. 4-hour s unexcused absence will result in a fail ing grade for the course .
