- The general unemployment rate was 1.7%, the unemployment rate of local residents was 2.3%, and the underemployment rate was 0.5%. All three indicators remained steady compared to the previous period (September-November 2019).
- The general labour force participation rate was 70.2% and the labour force participation rate of local residents was 63.5%, both up by 0.3 percentage points from the previous period. Total employment was 389,800 and number of employed residents totalled 281,600, up by 2,200 and 1,300 respectively.
