Purpose: This course will teach the students the know-how of the management and
mining of biological data by the statistical software such as EXCEL andSPSS. Data explorations via the statistical methods are more precise, and
conclusions basing on the analyses are more informative for communication.Topics covered: exploratory data analysis, probability theory and sample distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, linear regression, correlation,
