- The general unemployment rate (1.7%) and the unemployment rate of local residents (2.3%) held steady from the previous period (December 2018-February 2019). Meanwhile, the underemployment rate (0.4%) dropped by 0.1 percentage point.
- The general labour force participation rate was 70.4% and the labour force participation rate of local residents was 64.0%, down by 0.4 and 0.5 percentage points respectively over the previous period. Total employment was 387,100 and number of employed residents totalled 282,000, down by 1,000 and 1,600 respectively.
