ESTIMATIVAS DA POPULAÇÃO RESIDENTE DE MACAU ESTIMATES OF MACAO RESIDENT POPULATION

二零零五年十二月三十一日的本澳居住人口估計為 488 144 人，較二零零四年十二月三十一日增加了 22 811 人；二零零五年的人口年增長率為 4.8%。

居住人口中男性佔 48.3%，女性佔 51.7%；在年齡分佈方面，0-14 歲的年青人口佔 15.6%，15-64 歲的成年人口佔 76.1%，65 歲及以上的老年人口佔 8.3%。與二零零四年比較，年青人口比例下降 1.5 個百分點，而成年人口和老年人口比例則分別上升 1.3 及 0.2 個百分點。

在構成人口數量增長的其中一個組成部分 ── 人口的自然變動方面，二零零五年新生嬰兒數目為 3 671 名，死亡數目為 1 615 名，較二零零四年分別上升 11.0%及 5.3%；人口自然增長率為 0.4%。

而在構成人口數量增長的另一個組成部分 ── 人口的遷移變動方面，二零零五年的移入人數估計為 21 811 名，當中包括來自中國大陸的合法和非法移民，獲准在澳居留人士及非本地勞工；移出人數估計為 1 056 名。

A população residente estimada para 31 de Dezembro de 2005 foi de 488 144, o que representa um acréscimo de 22 811 pessoas em relação a 31 de Dezembro de 2004. Verificou-se que a taxa de crescimento anual da população foi de 4,8% em 2005.

No que diz respeito à repartição por sexo, observa-se que 48,3% da população residente é do sexo masculino e 51,7% do sexo feminino. Quanto à estrutura etária, verifica-se que 15,6% são jovens (0-14 anos), 76,1% adultos (15-64 anos) e 8,3% idosos (65 anos e mais). Em comparação com os resultados do ano anterior, a proporção dos jovens decresceu 1,5 pontos percentuais, enquanto que a percentagem dos adultos e idosos aumentou 1,3 e 0,2 pontos percentuais, respectivamente.

Relativamente ao movimento natural, um dos factores demográficos que determina o crescimento da população, registaram-se 3 671 nados-vivos e 1 615 óbitos em 2005, o que representa acréscimos de 11,0%

e de 5,3%, respectivamente, em relação ao ano transacto. A taxa de crescimento natural foi de 0,4%.

Quanto ao outro factor demográfico － movimento migratório em 2005, as estimativas apontam para um total de 21 811 imigrantes, incluindo os vindos da China Continental (legais e ilegais), bem como os indivíduos autorizados a permanecer em Macau e trabalhadores não residentes. Por seu turno, foram estimados 1 056 emigrantes.

Resident population of Macao was estimated at 488 144 as at 31^st December 2005, which represented an increase of 22 811 persons compared with 31^st December 2004. The annual rate of population growth for 2005 was 4.8%.

With regard to the sex distribution of the resident population, 48.3% were male and 51.7%

were female. In terms of the distribution by age group, the youth population (aged 0-14) accounted for 15.6% of the total; the adult population (aged 15-64) and the elderly population (aged 65 and over) were 76.1% and 8.3% respectively. Compared with 2004, the proportion of youth population dropped 1.5 percentage points, while those of adult and elderly population went up 1.3 and 0.2 percentage points respectively.

Natural increase, one of the factors in determining population growth, recorded 3 671 cases of live births and 1 615 mortality cases in 2005, up 11.0% and 5.3% respectively compared with 2004.

The rate of natural increase for 2005 was 0.4%.

Population migration, the other factor in determining population growth, recorded an estimated inflow of 21 811 persons in 2005, including legal and illegal immigrants from Mainland China, persons that were authorized to reside in Macao and the non-resident workers. Meanwhile, number of emigrants was estimated at 1 056 persons.
