英文摘要
Keywords:poetry on object ,Li. Shang-yin, relation between poetry and object, people’s perception of poetry on object.
The poems of Li. Shang-Yin in late Tang Dynast represent Chinese poetry of the “vague” and “concealed” kind at its extreme. Owing to opposing most orthodox
Confucians opinion that poetry was primarily a kind of moral instruction, the poet holds the view that poetry was mainly an expression of personal emotion. He always
transmitted his lamentation and desperation, wistfulness and frailty by the object. His poetry on object illustrated how rich, complex, and condensed Chinese poetry can be in revealing, symbolism, and allusion.
In his poetry on object, he captured the moments of ethereal, fleeting beauty. The object was no longer merely an object, but a symbol of the poet’s sentiment and deep inside. He not only changed the canonical tradition but also alter people’s perception of poetry on object. He created the unique style, which ingeniously combined lamentation with luxuriant splendor
