第四章 以內容分析法分析圖書館入口網站
第一節 取樣設計
一、取樣設計
本研究以地毯式搜尋方式挑選個案，途徑有二，說明如下：
(一)、資料庫查詢：
西文部份透過CSA (Cambridge Scientific Abstracts)公司之「圖書館與資訊科學 摘要」(Library and Information Science Abstract, LISA)資料庫；中文則透過國家圖書 館「中文期刊篇目索引影像系統」進行樣本選取，從文獻中取得入口網站的案例。
研究者在2005年11月14日進入此二資料庫進行查詢，西文部份以「KW=(library and KW=portal*) or (KW=My Library or KW=Mylibrary)」及「(KW=enterprise or campus or instruction) and KW=portal*」做為檢索策略，分別檢索出552筆及32筆；
中文部份則至以「個人化 and 圖書館」、「(機構or校園or學校) and 入口網站」為 關鍵字做查詢，分別檢索出9筆及1筆。
逐一檢視篇名及摘要，若可能符合本研究之案例文獻，則閱讀文獻內容是否提 及圖書館入口網站系統，若有，則取出圖書館名稱後做為內容分析之對象。期刊文 獻提及之圖書館入口網站系統，應具一定的學術研究地位，但由於並非都能以Guest 帳號進入系統模擬使用，透過文獻介紹可較清楚系統功能，將有助於後續調查。
(二)、Google查詢：
透過搜尋引擎Google以相同檢索策略，進行觀測動作，以增加樣本數，觀測期 從2005年11月至2006年6月。
二、取樣條件
(一)、 具有帳號登入機制：透過登入後可開啟兩個以上系統或服務。
(二)、 採用MyLibrary軟體之入口網站功能類似，故只選擇一個作為分析對象，以 MyOpenLibrary為代表。
(三)、 需有Guest帳號或完善之文件說明其功能。
