第二節 建議
本研究之研究目的為透過索引典控制詞彙以及語意關係的功能,來幫助使用 者提高對於大學圖書館網站標籤的理解,並協助使用者更好卡片分類法,達到提 升圖書館網站尋獲度。基於研究結果,本研究對臺師大圖書館及後續相關研究提 出以下建議:
一、 將網頁標籤結合索引典特性
本研究在過程中發現,有標示語意關係之標籤卡片在進行分類時,較可幫助 受試者進行實驗,也能提升受試者對標籤之瞭解。因此,本研究建議,在設計網 頁標籤時,若能利用索引典特性,將語意關係的標示和標籤系統做結合,能讓使 用者對網頁標籤能有更進一步的認識,進而提升網站的使用率。
二、 加強圖書館服務之推廣
研究過程中發現,受試者不瞭解部分圖書館網頁標籤的意義,或是在替換標 籤時不知該如何提出更適合的標籤,絕大部分是因為不熟悉圖書館的服務或未使 用過這項服務,甚至不知道圖書館有提供這樣的服務。由此可知,使用者對圖書 館服務的瞭解十分有限,因此圖書館應加強推廣及宣傳,讓使用者能夠更全面的 認識圖書館所提供的各項服務及資源,達到網站使用率的提升。
三、 探討受試者科系別影響
本研究之研究對象為所有在學學生,然而在研究過程中發現,不同科系的學 生於討論階段或卡片分類階段時,對圖書館網站標籤之理解情況略有差異,建議 後續研究可針對不同科系之受試者對於圖書館網站標籤之理解情況做深入的探 討。
四、 個人卡片分類法
本研究卡片分類法階段採用團體卡片分類法方式進行,雖然團體卡片分類法 可以藉由討論幫助受試者瞭解卡片標籤,研究者也可由討論過程從旁獲取許多資 料,然而在討論過程中,可能由於受試者個人特質或多數決的關係而忽略了少數 人的意見,因此,建議後續相關研究可採用個人卡片分類法的方式進行卡片類別 的探討。
五、 卡片分類法之分析方式
本研究於卡片分類法分析時由於樣本數小,採用質化分析的方式進行。然而 在分析過程中難免會參雜研究者主觀之意見,因此建議若樣本數較大之相關研究 在進行分析時,可以採取量化或其他分析方式進行。
