一、給創作者的建議
1. 創作者須了解圖畫書主角性別比例不平均的事實，以及圖畫書對孩童 價值觀的影響力，並增加女性故事的創作。
2. 創作者須用更多元的角度構思故事內容，跳脫傳統性別的框架，並具 備審視自己與他人作品性別角色形象塑造的能力。
3. 對於角色的選用也不應該拘泥刻板印象，例如 32 種以動物為主角的 樣本中，有 27 種動物只以男性為主角，創作者若能擴展女性角色的 多樣性，便能使女性讀者在書中找到更多元的榜樣。
4. 角色造型設計不應侷限女性及男性的典型形象中，創作者應該觀察更 多不同個性的人，才能創造與生活產生共鳴的角色。
5. 臺灣創作者能投入更多注意力並創作更多身體意象主題之圖畫書
二、給未來研究方向的建議
1. 本研究由於時間的限制，樣本種類及數目還有增加的空間，未來研究 能補充外文的圖畫書樣本，擴大樣本的數量，以更清楚了解身體意象 圖畫書的性別比例。
2. 研究可以增加時間軸，根據年代觀察性別不平等的情況是否與時俱進，
讓更多創作者、出版業及圖書相關產業能更重視性別平等在圖畫書中 的重要性。
3. 除了統計分析，後續研究者也可以以質性分析深入探討每一本圖畫書 的文字內容、每個角色所代表的意義、角色間的關係與其對主角造成 的影響，以及主角在故事中細微的成長與變化。
