第二節 未來研究建議
利用工具來建置系統有利有弊，底下將描述對系統設計的建議，另外提及未 來可以變更資料面向和增加資料數量等的建議。
一、 增加系統功能擴充的彈性
使用 CMS 工具與 Omnigator 建置系統的方法，雖然在初步輸入資料時相當 快速，CMS 官方也提供很多的模組下載，不用自行撰寫程式控制資料庫，版面 又比自行設計來得美觀許多，但其缺點是 CMS 本身的資料結構限制，自行擴充 功能需符合它的設計理念，若要找官方提供的模組，又不知道該以什麼關鍵字查 詢才能找到如意的模組。另外若要自行寫 SQL 語法控制資料庫時，必須深入了 解資料表中每個欄位的意義為何、如何關聯其他資料表與找出自己需要的資料表 等，因此延長系統功能擴充時間與難度，與其從一開始自行定義資料結構來建置 系統還比利用 CMS 建置來得方便許多。
二、 轉換資料面向或增加資料數量
本研究只有蒐集圖書資訊及職能治療系部分的資料來測試系統，未來可以再轉換 其他領域的文獻導入至系統，或是將台灣某一系所全部的資料全數倒入系統，如 此一來，可以得知台灣該系所發展以及當前研究的方向為何。
