第四節 未來研究方向

本研究建議之未來研究方向主要有以下兩方面,分述如下:

一、電子郵件使用行為方面

現代社會中,以網際網路為媒介的溝通方式對於知識工作者而言非常重 要(Zhao, 2002),因為它與個人的生產力密切相關。本研究中所觀察到的電 子郵件使用行為,除了顯露出一些原本沒有預期的電子郵件系統設計,也指 出了需要進一步解決的問題。因此,關於本研究的延伸有兩個方向是值得進 行的:一是重新設計能夠配合知識工作者使用行為的系統;另一為設計一套 訓練課程能夠教導知識工作者有效降低使用電子郵件所引起的時間壓力。另 外,性別的差異對於電子郵件的使用亦有相關的文獻記載(Debrand &

Johnson, 2008; Gefen, & Straub, 1997; Victor, Kelley, & Ammon, 2002)。雖然性 別議題並非本研究之主軸,但是性別差異亦是未來值得探究的議題之一。

二、電子郵件自我效能訓練方面

有關電子郵件教育訓練之未來研究方向有以下幾項(Marakas, et al., 1998 ): 1. 可 利 用 不 同 的 訓 練 方 法 , 探 討 電 子 郵 件 自 我 效 能 的 前 因

(antecedent)。2. 探討在什麼邊界狀況(boundary conditions)下,該使用 何種訓練方法最能有效地提升電子郵件自我效能。3. 除了本研究所探討的 人格特質因素外,在教育訓練的情境下,何種個別差異因素會影響教育訓 練對自我效能提升之效果。
