經由上一章實證分析可知,拉丁美洲國家七國,其偏離 UIP 僅阿根廷、巴拉圭及 秘魯具有非線性 STAR 之調整行為。本實證研究亦依形式檢定判定適合之 STAR,且 探討其調整行為,發現阿根廷及秘魯適合用 LSTAR1 模型描述非線性調整行為,而巴 拉圭則適合用 LSTAR2 模型描述非線性調整行為。且阿根廷、巴拉圭及秘魯等三國非 線性殘差之單根檢定亦呈一定態序列;由此可知阿根廷、巴拉圭及秘魯等三國之偏離 UIP 亦呈現一種非線性的穩定調整的狀態。
Taylor and Peel(2000)中建議未來研究者亦可應用非線性向量誤差修正模型
(nonliner vector error correction model)探討名目匯率與基要變數之間的動態關係,此 或許可作為本實證研究進一步分析偏離 UIP 之非線性均數回復現象及短期動態調整至 長期均衡關係之過程,此或許可作為本實證研究未來進一步應用與探討。
