新技術或者產品的誕生,往往在於先前的技術或者產品無法滿足目前客戶的需求,
因此顧客的需求與顧客滿意是驅動新產品發展的動力,筆記型電腦的出現是由於電腦使 用者希望他們擁有一台可以隨身攜帶的電腦,而迷你筆記型電腦的誕生則在於兩股主要 的驅動力量,一股驅力來自百元電腦(One Laptop Per Child, OLPC)的概念,希望透過提 供低廉但具有基本網路功能的平價電腦來縮短第三世界國家與先進國家之間的數位落 差;另一股則是超行動個人電腦(Ultra Mobile Personal Computer, UMPC),主要概念來自 於 Intel 為了實現移動性的平版電腦,但產品發展後期卻因為重量太過笨重以及價格太 為 Acer AO532H, Acer AOD250W7, HP Mini 210, ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-M, SONY VAIO W213, Acer 向來都以精確的市場需求聞名,雖然在迷你筆記型電腦市場,宏碁不是先行 1005PE, ASUS Eee PC 1000HE, HP Mini 2140, Acer Aspire One AOD150,Lenovo ideapad s10-2, Nokia-Booklet 3G, ASUS Eee PC 701,華碩在迷你筆記型電腦產品上相較於其他廠 商,產品的研發能力強,在生產製造方面,與和碩保持密切關係,推出產品的速度較快。
4.3 節主要對迷你筆記型電腦做改善的策略,利用重要-表現度分析
(Important-Performance Analysis,IPA)找出對消費者來說是重要但是不滿意之準則,搭配 網路關聯圖得之準則之間的影響關係,找出最佳的改善策略,在產品價值與服務費率(PF) 構面中資料傳輸費率是消費者認為重要但是不滿意之準則,而其改善策略為間接改善,
透過促銷優惠方案(PF4)、裝置產品價格(PF1)之構面的改善來進一步改善;在裝置軟硬 體設計構面,電源供應(DS4)、運算速度(DS6)是屬於不滿意但是重要的準則,而電源供 應(DS4)其於屬於支配準則(
d − r > 0
),故改善策略則建議採用直接改善策略,運算速度 (DS6)為被支配準則,因此可利用支配準則來進行改善;對於裝置功能與服務構面,資 料處理功能(FS3)屬於立即被改善,其改善策略建議用直接改善;而系統服務與產品形 象構面,所有的準則都屬於滿意,所以建議的改善策略則是持續維持。經由文獻探討與市場分析來觀察,未來迷你筆記型電腦的產品生命週期有可能將邁 入成熟期階段,迷你筆記型電腦的毛利率也會因此降低,因此將會有電腦品牌廠商和代 工廠商也紛紛退出這個產業,而迷你筆記型電腦的性能越來越好,將來勢必與筆記型電 腦的區隔模糊化,電腦品牌廠商務必僅慎自家的產品互相侵蝕,因此,為了讓自身的產 品能保持競爭優勢,必須從消費者身上找出產品的定位,提高消費者的價值滿意度和價 格滿意度,以提升或維持競爭優勢。
本研究希望迷你筆記型電腦廠商藉此迷你筆記型電腦市場競爭定位及產品發展的 評估模式,以及找出自身產品目前在台灣市場上的市場定位以及優劣勢所在,發展出可 行的產品改善方向或新產品的規劃。未來後續研究可以增加更多類型產品實證,若進一 步應用在同一廠商的不同產品,可找出同一廠商的不同時期的產品發展策略;若針對不 同族群消費者屬性進行更深入的研究,可以作為產品市場區隔的參考;若對不同國家的 消費者做調查,並以不同國家的迷你筆記型電腦做實證分析,分析產品的國際市場定位 與競爭優勢。
