第二節 限制與建議
研究方法方面,由於本研究口腔護理介入措施基於促進副交感神經活性 為理論基礎,但是研究中缺乏相關測試方法如:心率變異分析(Heart rate variability,HRV)加以佐證實驗組的副交感活性確實較控制組高,雖然研究 結果顯示介入措施有效,但證據力若能加強則更有實務應用上的實證依據。
而另一早期下床活動介入措施亦有不夠完善之處,由於本研究包含常見 腹部手術,考量到每個病患對活動的耐受力因術式而異,故無法在本研究中 建立一有效活動劑量為介入措施的標準,供給未來研究參考之用。
二、臨床實務建議
本研究透過非侵入性護理措施:口腔護理、早期下床活動及定向溝通促 進腹部手術老年病患胃腸活動恢復,尤以行胃部手術老年病患可透mHELP 顯著提早進食固體食物並縮短住院天數,行右側結腸切除術個案透 mHELP 顯著提早排氣時間,值得推廣應用。
