一、概述︰

本計畫原定兩年內完成。第一年部份自九十一年八月開始執行﹐迄今過程順利。

刻正著手整理資料,準備進行下一步研讀分析工作。預定下一年度根據研究所得

撰寫論文﹐並尋求發表管道。

二、資料之收集︰

1. 文 字 資 料 ︰ 使 用 光 碟

William Shakespeare: The Complete Works on

CD-ROM (Alameda, CA, USA: Andromeda Interactive, 1994) 搜尋,蒐集

莎士比亞戲劇作品中所有的獨白片段,計有 237 段之多,依劇種和年代

製作分析圖表,並列出細目總表(詳見附表一「莎劇獨白片段一覽表」

2. 影音資料︰經研讀篩選後,鎖定《羅密歐與朱麗葉》

《第十二夜》

《亨

利四世上篇》

《亨利四世下篇》

《馬克白》以及《哈姆雷》中幾段具有

特色的獨白深入探討。已整理出目前能找到的國內的上述各劇的舞台、

電視或電影的演出記錄,未來將針對其中獨白部分的處理,做各個版本

的分析比較(詳見附表二「國內莎劇影音資料整理」

三、研究步驟︰

1. 研讀與獨白相關之研究,綜覽各家理論,了解獨白的發展,以及它在各

個時代戲劇中所代表的不同意義。從而針對已選定的幾段莎劇獨白,進

行文本研讀和分析,並和其演出版本對照比較,明其異同。

2. 由於國內收藏的莎劇影音資料有限,未來將在適合時間前往英、美、德

等知名莎學研究機構蒐集獨白的演出資料。

3. 本人於九十一學年度第一學期開設之「莎士比亞獨白研究」課程,搭配

戲劇系表演教師姚坤君老師所開設之「莎士比亞獨白表演手法」課程,

已圓滿結束。這個充分結合文本研究和表演研究的新嘗試,成果豐碩,

學生肯定此一能夠即時以實作印證理論的學習新法,並有明顯的進步。

目前正著手整理課程相關的資料,包括學生的學習進程、成果展演等

等,預計將製成影音光碟,以利學界及戲劇界使用。

四、結語︰

依目前進度看﹐當可如期完成此一研究的初階。希望繼續獲得貴會補助﹐順利進

行下一階段的論文撰寫與發表。
