Course Description and Objectives:
This course aims to inspire students’ interest of observing more carefully famous paintings and to establish their sensibility of associating different art forms. Many great artists find theme of their art from the world of literature; some strive to visualize great book like bible or poetry by masters; some get inspired so much by the dramatic world of Shakespeare. Most of the great paintings contain important messages and tell vivid stories. By learning how to decode all these secret messages from the painting, students also learn how to appreciate art.
