- Value of retail sales totalled MOP 16.37 billion, down by 11% compared with the revised figure of MOP 18.37 billion in the first quarter, but up by 3%
year-on-year. For the first half year of 2014, value of retail sales increased by 9% year-on-year to MOP 34.74 billion.
- After removing the effect of price changes, volume of retail sales increased by 4% year-on-year, with notable increase in sales of Motorcycles, Parts &
Accessories (+61%), Chinese Food Products (+36%) and Dried Seafood (+29%). Volume of retail sales fell by 11% quarter-to-quarter. For the first half year of 2014, volume of retail sales increased by 11% year-on-year.
