 The index of Industrial Production was 105.5, up by 18.7% quarter-to-quarter, attributable to a 55.3% growth in the production index of Electricity, Gas & Water Supply (85.1), due to the increase in electricity generation and water treatment.

 Production index of the Manufacturing Sector (134.9) fell by 2.2% over the previous quarter, with the indices of Manufacture of Textiles and

Manufacture of Other Non-Metallic Mineral Products dropping by 22.2% simultaneously; meanwhile, the indices of Manufacture of Wearing

Apparel and Manufacture of Food Products & Beverages rose by 16.7% and 4.4% respectively.
